Applications are invited from Pakistani Nationals, who are not married to a foreign national, for the appointment on the following position in the Institute of Home and Food Sciences under Higher Education Commission Project No. 7384/Punjab/NRPU/R&D/HEC/2017, titled “Biochemical Characterization of Barley Cell Wall with Special Reference to Amelioration of Soluble Dietary Fibre; an Innovative Approach towards Value Addition” with the following terms and conditions.
Post name: Research Assistant (1)
Honorarium: Rs. 25,000/- per month
Contract duration: 12 months (renewable for 1 more year)
Qualification: M.Sc. (Hons.)/MS or equivalent in Food Science & Technology / Food Technology
Eligibility: Candidate must be enrolled in Ph.D. Food Science & Technology
Experience: Candidate having good working experience related to the physicochemical analyses and report writing will be preferred. Duties and responsibilities include working in both field and lab including raw material collection, chemical analyses, preparing project report, writing new proposals and manuscript writing.
Project information: The project remaining duration is 24 months. The above positions are purely on temporary basis. The incumbent will be required to sign a bond for entire duration of the project.
