Positions, on contract basis, are available in the Government College University, Faisalabad. The candidates, who possess the relevant qualifications and expertise in their respective areas, may apply for the following positions

Chief Security Officer No of Position=1

Pay Negotiable: Commensurate with the Qualifications and Relevant Experience

Eligibility Criteria: Retired Officers of Armed Forces not below the rank of Major or equivalent: 20 years spotless service and medical category A.

Age Limit: Minimum 45 years

Consultant Estate Management No of Position=1

Pay Negotiable: Commensurate with the Qualifications and Relevant Experience

Eligibility Criteria: The candidate is required to oversee and manage the estate offices of the University and must possess the relevant expertise to utilize the resources of the estate office in an economical and efficient manner.

• Master degree preferably in Public Administration
• Must have 10 Year experience of Managing the estate affairs in the Higher Education Institution as an Estate Officer or Resident Officer.

Age Limit: Minimum 55 years

Motor Transport Officer No of Position=1

Pay Negotiable: Commensurate with the Qualification and Relevant Experience

Eligibility Criteria: The responsibilities of Motor Transport Officer include maintenance, repair and efficient utilization of the Vehicle feet of the University, fuel supply and documentation etc. The Candidate(s) having the following qualifications and experience may apply

Major (Retired) with minimum 7 years experience of managing the Transport affairs in the Armed Forces.
OR
Junior Commissioned Officer (JCO Retired) not below the rank of Subedar Major having at least 15 years experience of managing transport affairs in the Armed Forces.
OR
Master Degree or equivalent with 10 years experience of managing transport affairs in a reputable Public or Private Sector Organization.

Age Limit: Minimum 45 years

Instructions

• The latest Prescribed Application & Bio-data Form can be downloaded from the website of the University (http://www.gcuf.edu.pk) and should be submitted in the Recruitment Cell, with demand draft of Rs. 2000/- in favour of Treasurer, Government College University, Faisalabad (as processing fee non-refundable) as per following:-
• The candidates from abroad may submit their applications on prescribed Application Form, available on the University website, accompanied by Bank Draft of US $ 50/- in favour of Treasurer Government College University, Faisalabad and attested copies of all necessary testimonials, ID card, recent photograph, updated CV on the given address.  
• Incomplete or the applications received after due date will not be entertained.
• The candidates are required to submit Three (03) sets of duly filled in Application Form (must be) supported with attested copies of degrees, result cards, ID card, three recent photographs, updated C.V, transcripts, certificates.
• The candidates applying for more than one post shall submit separate Job Application Form with necessary documents, complete in all respects. 
• The University reserves the right not to consider any application or not to fill any post without assigning any reason.
• The candidate already in Service must apply through proper channel by the due date.
• The Candidates must attach HEC Equivalence Certificate(s), where applicable, otherwise their applications would not be entertained / considered.
• Candidates upto 62 years of age can apply for the positions.
• The evaluation of the Scrutiny Committee shall be final and only on merit candidates will be called for interview / informed.
• Initially the contract would be for a period of one year which can be extended, on yearly basis subject to good performance, for a maximum period of three years.
• The recommended candidates will have no right to claim, whatsoever, to convert their contractual service into the regular/permanent one.
• Applications complete in all respects must reach, during the office hours, in the Recruitment Cell, Registrar Office Government College University, Faisalabad till 11-11-2019.

• Only short listed candidates will be called for interview and short listing of the candidates shall be made in accordance with procedure laid down by the University.
• The Institution reserves the right to increase or decrease the No. of positions.
• Nature of posts can be changed according to the need of the University.
