Applications are invited from Pakistani Nationals, who are not married to a foreign national, for the appointment on the following position in the Institute of Home and Food Sciences under Higher Education Commission Project No. 9287/Punjab/NRPU/R&D/HEC/2017, titled “Bioevaluation and Utilization of Different Levels of Egg Powder with or without Probiotics as Weaning Food” with the following terms and conditions.
Post name: Research Assistant (1)
Honorarium: Rs. 25,000/- per month
Contract duration: 12 months (renewable for 1 more year)
Qualification & Eligibility: M.Sc. (Hons.)/MS or equivalent in Food & Nutrition/Food Science & Technology/Human Nutrition and Dietetics
Experience: Candidate having good working experience related to the physicochemical analyses of experimental diets, animal modelling and report writing will be preferred. Duties and responsibilities include working in both field and lab including raw material collection, experimental diets preparation, chemical analyses, rat modelling, preparing project report, writing new proposals and manuscript writing.
Project information: The project remaining duration is 24 months. The above positions are purely on temporary basis. The incumbent will be required to sign a bond for offered duration of the project.
