Applications are invited from Pakistani Nationals, who are not married to a foreign national, for the appointment on the following position in the Institute of Home and Food Sciences under Higher Education Commission Project No. 8074/Federal/NRPU/HEC/2017, entitled “Impact of food processing technologies on production of bioactive peptides and its biofunctional characterization in reference to inflammation” with the following terms and conditions.
Post name: Research assistant (1)
Honorarium: Rs. 25,000/- per month
Contract duration: 05 months (Extendable to one more year)
Qualification: M.Sc. (Hons.)/MS or equivalent in Food Science & Technology / Food Science and Nutrition and PhD student must enrolled in Institute of Home and Food Sciences, Government College University Faisalabad.
Experience: Candidate having good working experience related to the physicochemical analyses in Food and Nutrition and report writing will be preferred. Duties and responsibilities include working in Lab including raw material collection, chemical analyses, preparing project report, writing new proposals and manuscript writing.
Project information: The project remaining duration is 5 months (extendable further for 12 months). The above positions are purely on temporary basis. The incumbent will be required to sign a bond for entire duration of the project.
