Applications are invited from Pakistani Nationals, who are not married to a foreign national, for the appointment on the following two positions in the Department of Bioinformatics & Biotechnology under National Research Program for Universities-Higher Education Commission project No. 20-4486/NRPU/R&D/HEC/14/724, titled “Development of molecular diagnostic strategy for characterization of multiple drug resistant staphylococci (MRSA, VRSA) in local population” under following terms and conditions.
Post name: Research Associate (1)Monthly Stipend: PKR. 20,000/- per month
Contract duration: 01 year (Extendable to 03 Years)
Qualification: MS/ MPhil Biotechnology
Experience:Duties and responsibilities include working in both field and lab including blood and clinical sample collection, DNA extraction from blood and bacteria, PCR, agarose gel electrophoresis, microbiological work. Candidate having relevant background will be preferred.
Project information: The project duration is 36 months. The above position is purely on temporary basis. The incumbent will be required to sign a surety bond for entire duration of the project.
