Applications are invited from Pakistani Nationals, who are not married to a foreign national, for the appointment on the following two positions in the Department of Bioinformatics & Biotechnology under National Research Program for Universities-Higher Education Commission project No. 20-3704/NRPU/R&D/HEC/14/744, titled “Construction of the biofuel secreting microbial cell factories” under following terms and conditions.
Post name: Research Associate (1)Monthly Stipend: PKR. 20,000/- per month
Contract duration: 01 year (Renewable Once)
Qualification:MS/MPhil Biotechnology Scholar, with BS (Hons) in Bioinformatics & Biotechnology.
Experience:Duties and responsibilities include working in both field and lab including algal sample collection, isolation, purification, identification, DNA extraction, PCR, gene cloning, protein expression, GC-MS analyses however candidate having good working experience in advanced biofuels research will be preferred.
Project information: The project duration is 24 months. The above position is purely on temporary basis. The incumbent will be required to sign a surety bond for entire duration of the project.
