Applications are invited for the following BPS (Temporary likely to become permanent) / TTS & for Teaching and Non-teaching positions at Government College University, Faisalabad from (Pakistani Nationals) with given pay scale plus usual allowance as permissible under the rules and on pay package as per HEC Policy. 1- Professor on BPS-21/TTS

Qualification & Experience: Ph.D./Relevant terminal qualification from a recognized and reputable Institution in the relevant field with either 11-years post-Ph.D./Relevant terminal degree or minimum of 7-years of post-PhD experience with at least 12 years of experience prior to the PhD. The experience to be counted is to be of teaching/research in a recognized University or a post-graduate Institution or professional experience in the relevant field in a National or International Organization.

Publications: 15 research publications (with at least 5 publications in the past 5 years) in internationally abstracted Journals, recognized for the purpose of appointment on Tenure Track by the Higher Education Commission.

3- Assistant Professor on BPS-19/ TTS

Age Limit: 30-45 Years

Qualification: Ph.D in the relevant subject

Eligibility Criteria for the Post of Assistant Professor on TTS

Qualification: Ph.D/Relevant terminal qualification from a recognized institution and excellent written communication skills as well as excellent presentation skills.

4- Lecturer (BPS-18)

Eligibility Criteria for the Post of Lecturer (BPS-18)

Age Limit: 21-35 Years

Qualification: 1st class MS / M.Phil. / equivalent degree, awarded after 18years of education, in the relevant field from HEC recognized University / Institution with no 3rd division in the academic career. Condition of no 3rd division shall not be applicable in the qualification of appointment as lecturer in Universities or Degree Awarding institutions provided that the candidate holds a higher degree viz Ph.D. or equivalent degree with not more than one 3rd division in entire academic career.

5- Research Officer (BPS-17)

Eligibility Criteria for the Post Research Officer (BPS-17)

Age Limit:- 21-35 Years

Qualification & Experience: M.Phil 1st Class or M.A / M.Sc 1st Class in the relevant subject from a recognized College / University.

Qualification & Experience for Medical Sciences:MBBS from an HEC recognized University / Institution with no 3rd division in the academic career

Experience: No experience is required.

6- Teaching Assistant (BPS-16)

Eligibility Criteria for the Post Teaching Assistant (BPS-16)

Age Limit:- 21-35 Years

Qualification & Experience: MA / M.Sc (1st division) from a recognized university in case of a Teaching Assistant.

7- Medical Officer / Doctor (BPS-17)

1. The latest prescribed Application & Bio-data Form can be downloaded from the website of the University (http://www.gcuf.edu.pk) and should be submitted in the Recruitment Cell, with demand draft as per following

   in favour of Treasurer, Government College University, Faisalabad. However, the applicants desiring to have form through post may obtain the same on written request along with self addressed envelope of large size with Rs. 30/- postage stamps. Duly filled in application form must be supported with attested copies of educational testimonials / certificates, I.D. Card, three recent photographs and updated Curriculum Vitae (CV).
2. The candidates from abroad may submit their applications on prescribed Application & Bio-data Form, available on the University website, accompanied by Bank Draft of US $ 50/- on the name of Treasurer Government College University, Faisalabad and attested copies of all necessary testimonials, ID card, recent photograph, updated CV on the given address.
3. Candidates applying for the positions of Engineering / Pharmacy must attach the registration certificates of Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) / Pharmacy Council respectively.
4. The Candidates must attach HEC Equivalence Certificate(s), where applicable, otherwise their application would not be entertained / considered.
5. The evaluation of the Scrutiny Committee shall be final and only on merit candidates will be called for interview / informed.
6. The condition of age can be relaxed as per policy of the University.
7. Incomplete or the applications received after due date will not be entertained.
8. The candidates for the positions of Professor and Associate Professor are required to submit Five (05) sets of applications and candidates for remaining posts are required to submit Three (03) sets on the prescribed Form along with attested copies of degree, result cards, transcripts, certificates along with research publications. In case, degree has not been issued, a certificate to that effect signed by the Controller of Examinations might be accepted. In all cases, statement of experience must be supported by certificates by employers.
9. The candidates applying for more than one post shall submit separate Job Application Form with necessary documents, complete in all respects.
10. The University reserves the right not to consider any application or not to fill any post without assigning any reason.

14. Certificate of Post-graduate teaching experience in the relevant subject, clearly mentioning the duration of Post-graduate teaching experience, and other experience certificates, duly issued by the concerned Head(s) of the Department / Competent Authority must be attached. No. advantage, whatsoever, would be given if Experience Certificates are not attached.
15. For Rahmatul-lil-Alameen Chair Ph.D. in Islamic Studies is required and rest of the criteria would be as prescribed by the HEC. However preference would be given to those candidates who have specialization in Sirah Studies / well versed with literature on Sirah Studies.
16. *For the positions of Associate Professor of Allied Health Professionals Ph.D. in the relevant field along with specializations in MLT / OTT / RIT are required. However rest of the criteria would be as prescribed by the HEC, (as mentioned above).
    *For the positions of Assistant Professor of Allied Health Professionals Ph.D. in the relevant field along with specializations in MLT / OTT / RIT are required.
    *For the positions of Lecturer in Operation Theatre Technology (OTT) / Radiography & Imaging Technology (RIT), 1st class MS / M.Phil. / equivalent degree, awarded after 18 years of education, in the relevant field from HEC recognized University / Institution with no 3rd division in the academic career. Condition of no 3rd division shall not be applicable in the qualification of appointment as lecturer in Universities or Degree Awarding institutions provided that the candidate holds a higher degree viz Ph.D. or equivalent degree with not more than one 3rd division in entire academic career.
17. *For the positions of Associate Professor of Public Health Ph.D. in the relevant field along with specializations in Public Health / Epidemiology and Public Health are required. However rest of the criteria would be as prescribed by the HEC, (as mentioned above).

19. For the position of Associate Professor Physical Therapy Ph.D. in Physical Therapy is required. However rest of the criteria would be as prescribed by the HEC, (as mentioned above).

    *For the positions of Lecturer in Physical Therapy 1st class MS / M.Phil. / equivalent degree in Physical Therapy, awarded after 18 years of education, in the relevant field from HEC recognized University / Institution with no 3rd division in the academic career. 20. *For the position(s) of Assistant Professor of Orthotics and Prosthetics Ph.D. in the relevant field (from the HEC recognized University / Institution), alongwith MS / M.Phil. in Orthotics and Prosthetics, are required.
    *For the position of Lecturer in Orthotics and Prosthetics 1st class MS / M.Phil. / equivalent degree in Orthotics and Prosthetics, awarded after 18 years of education, in the relevant field from HEC recognized University / Institution with no 3rd division in the academic career. Condition of no 3rd division shall not be applicable in the qualification of appointment as lecturer in Universities or Degree Awarding institutions provided that the candidate holds a higher degree viz Ph.D. or equivalent degree with not more than one 3rd division in entire academic career.
21. *For the positions of Associate Professor Data Science, (besides fulfilling the other HEC prescribed criteria) and Assistant Professor Data Science, Ph.D. in Data Science / Data Analytics / Computer Science / Statistics / Computational Science / Data Engineering / other closely relevant field are required. The applicants should have experience of undertaking research on Data Science methodology and should be an expert in Machine Learning Methods.
    *For the positions of Lecturer Data Science MS / M.Phil. in Data Science / Data Analytics / Computer Science / Statistics / Computational Science / Data Engineering / other closely relevant field are required. Preference would be given to those candidates having focus on computational aspects of Data Science methodology, machine learning and Computational Statistics.
22. Applications complete in all respects must reach the Recruitment Cell, Registrar Office Government College University, Faisalabad by mail not later than 29-01-2021

Note:

• Three percent (03 %) quota will be reserved for persons with disabilities as per direction of Government of the Punjab. If the candidate is disabled he/she will have to submit a certificate from the Provincial Council for Rehabilitation of Disabled Persons of Social Welfare Department. However, the persons with disabilities are exempted from the condition of demand draft.
• Five percent (5%) quota is reserved for the minorities.
