INSPIRE TEAM VISIT TO FISH SEED HATCHERY ON 18TH DECEMBER, 2015
INSPIRE Team including Dr. Farhat Jabeen GCUF, Dr. Abdul Shakoor Chaudhry from Newcastle University UK, and Mohammad Omer from British Council visited the Fish Seed Hatchery Faisalabad where Zulfiqar Ali Abdi Deputy Director Fisheries welcome the team and shared very important information regarding fish seed and growth. INSPIRE Team also interacted with the fishermen as well and discussed about the different fish species reared in the hatchery. INSPIRE Team is grateful to Deputy Director Mr. Zulfoqar Ali Abdi for his kind support and knowledge sharing activities.
VISIT OF INSPIRE/SPEKE LEADERS TO GOVERNMENT COLLEGES OF THE STUDY AREA
Dr. Farhat Jabeen Chairperson Zoology Department from GCUF and Dr. Abdul Shakoor Chaudhry from Newcastle University UK visited the Government College for Women Mianwali on 22-12-2015 and Government College for Boys on 21-12-2015 under INSPIRE/SPEKE Projects funded by HEC-BC for Knowledge Exchange activities and community awareness seminars and are grateful to the Principal and staff of the colleges for their kind cooperation in arranging seminars in their college.
VISIT TO STUDY AREA OF INSPIRE/SPEKE PROJECTS 22-12-2015
Dr. Farhat Jabeen GCUF and Dr. Abdul Shakoor Chaudhry visited the Study Area in Mianwali District and interacted with the fisherman and Contractors. They also visited the Fish Landing sites and Fish Sale points of the study area of the INSPIRE Project. Dr. Farhat Jabeen and Dr. Abdul Shakoor Chaudhry are very grateful to Mr. Abdullah Khan Niazi, Zafar ullah Khan Niazi, Kaleem u llah Khan and others who make this event very successful and extended their help and support by providing important information about the fish and fisherman of the study area.
