Call for Abstract & Registration

Conference Vision

To establish leadership in the field of science and technology and to address the global challenges posed by rapid advancements in different sciences along with developing competent human resources for providing services to the society. Moreover, to provide platform for scientists and experts in the facilitation of practical and ethical research not only in basic and applied chemical and biological sciences but also in other allied sciences. Pakistan is basically an agricultural country and thus agriculture is the 'backbone' of the economy and the mainstay of our national economic life. To propel agriculture into 21st century, the quality of technical skills & management of agricultural manpower must improve. Science, technology and new emerging techniques will of course be helpful in increasing the agricultural productivity of the country.

Conference Mission

Chemical and Life Sciences are the major contributors to human welfare. Fuels, fertilizers, plastics, herbicides and insecticides, drugs and pharmaceuticals, etc. are all products of chemical and biological transformations. Emerging problems that have to be addressed in the 21st century are the depletion of fossil fuel reserves and a sustainable "green" economy. Our mission is to provide guidance and educational tools to the research community in the effective administration of research compliance to expand human knowledge and to benefit society through research integrated with education.

Conference Objectives

• Awareness of students, teachers, researchers and general public about the role of chemical and life sciences and their major contributions for well being of mankind
• Active participation of students, teachers, researchers and general public in healthy discussion and motivation for better understanding.
• To promote knowledge based agricultural policies
• Development strategies to overcome/minimize the major problems to the teachers and researchers in the field of chemical and life sciences
• Training of students and general public to identify the role of modern technologies.
• Opportunities for students, teachers and researchers to interact with highly experienced and renowned scientists all across the country as well as abroad.
• Industry – academia linkage through expo.

Conference Themes

The World is now facing a crisis due to explosive increase in the demand of energy, food and water. Therefore, Chemistry, Agriculture and all interdisciplinary Sciences have crucial roles for sustaining the development of our planet. The conference program will feature a wide variety of keynote, plenary, invited and contributed lectures, as well as poster sessions. There will also an Education & Science Expo.

Abstract Format

• Abstract should be submitted as Microsoft Word for Windows document.
• The font size should be 12, Times New Roman throughout the abstract.
• The title of the abstract should be in upper case, bold and centralized.
• Author names and affiliations should be centralized.
• The abstract should be of 200-300 words in length.
• Please also provide 3-5 keywords for your abstract at the end

Proceedings

Participants will be invited to submit full papers after the conference. All full papers will be peer reviewed and accepted papers will be collected in the book of proceedings to be published.

About Faisalabad & Government College University The town named Lyallpur arose in the plains of Rachna Doab in 1886. The town was named after Sir James B. Lyall, Governor of Punjab (1887-1892). The name of the city was changed to Faisalabad in 1977 after the name of King Faisal Bin Abdul Aziz of Saudi Arabia, a great friend of Pakistan. In 1897, the Government College University's journey was started as a primary school which was promoted to High School and Intermediate College in 1905 and 1924 respectively. It was elevated to the degree level in 1933 and postgraduate disciplines were introduced in 1963. The long journey that started with the humble beginning reached its climax when it was granted the status of University in October 2002. It ranks the 5th best among large universities according to Higher Education Commission, Pakistan. The university is situated on the Allama Iqbal Road not far from the historical Clock Tower. The University is offering educational degrees in different disciplines. The University is a hub of educational, social and cultural activities with a close liaison with industry. How to Reach Faisalabad Faisalabad is very well connected with other cities in the country by air and road travel. For air travel, flights operate daily between Faisalabad and Karachi. Alternatively, one can take international flight for Lahore or Islamabad that are at 2.5 and 3.5 hours drive, respectively, by motorway from Faisalabad. Visa Every participant should make his/her own arrangement for receiving the Pakistani Visa by contacting the Pakistani Embassies and Consulates in their home countries. The organizers will send them official letters confirming their participation at the conference, if needed.
