Higher Education Commission (HEC) awards of National Research Grant (NRPU)

Higher Education Commission (HEC) of Pakistan has announced the awards of National Research Grant (NRPU) called for year 2016. From all Pakistan total submitted projects were 1700 among them the largest number of projects were submitted from Government College University Faisalabad. GCUF has a credit of 214 projects submission which reflect the vision of his Vice Chancellor, Prof. Dr. Muhammad Ali (T.I). His trust and motivation to hi faculty resulted in enhancing the research culture in the university campuses and all faculty members actively participated. In the initial screening total 144 projects of GCUF were selected. Now in the final awards our institution is leading with the big margin in whole Punjab. GCUF has been awarded with the 55 projects. While 213 projects were awarded in the whole Punjab. GCUF quenched the 26% of the total research grant. Vice Chancellor has shown his great pleasure and congratulated the whole team for their day night working. Vice Chancellor, Prof. Dr. Muhammad Ali (T.I) is leading the university and his dynamic leadership has resulted in the outstanding results. All the winners of research awards is invited by HEC for attending the award distribution ceremony going to held on Friday the April 28, 2017 in Avari Hotel Lahore. Where Honorable Governor Punjab will distribute the awards among the winners. It will be great honor for GCUF to have the biggest number of award winner. The Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Muhammad Ali (T.I) and Director ORIC Dr. Khalid Mahmood Zia has congratulated all the faculty members for their marvelous success.
