In compliance of the decision of the Syndicate, taken in its 49th meeting held on 05-06-2017, duly notified vide No. GCUF/Reg/Gen/17/435 dated 19-06-2017, Dr. Ghulam Shams-ur-Rehman, Associate Professor, department of Islamic Studies is hereby appointed as Chairperson, department of Islamic Studies & Arabic, for a period of three years, in terms of Article 3(2) of First Statutes, appended with the Government College University, Faisalabad Ordinance, 2002, vice Prof. Dr. Humayun Abbas, Professor of Islamic Studies, who is relieved of.
