Overseas Pakistanis Foundation (OPF) is awarding scholarships to the children of overseas Pakistanis registered with OPF. Scholarship will be awarded for the following levels of education:
- Intermediate or Equivalent
- Graduation
- Master/MS/M.Phil
Eligibility
- Father/Mother of the applicant must be registered member of OPF (Valid for 3 years after permanent return)
- Monthly income of parents should be equal or less than Rs. 100,000/-
- Applicant should be a regular student of an educational institution affiliated with/recognized by local Boarder/Universities/HEC
- For Intermediate scholarships, applicant must have secured minimum 60% marks in his/her last SSC Board exam
- For Graduation Level scholarships, applicant must have minimum minimum 60% marks in his/her last HSSC Board exam
- For Master Level scholarships, applicant must have minimum 60% marks or minimum CGPA 2.5 in BA/BSc/B.Com/BS/BBA etc
- Provincial Domicile
- The children of deceased registered OP’s are also eligible to apply in case his/her parent has died within 03 years before the last date of the advertisement
- Not availing any other scholarship during the current academic year
How to Apply
All the interested students who want to apply for the above programs are encouraged to apply on prescribed forms available from Photostats Shops or can be download from website www.gcuf.edu.pk. Application forms incomplete in any respect and not supported by the required documents and after due date will not be entertained.
The last date for the receipt of applications is 21st October, 2019
Attested Documents to be Attached
- Educational documents from Matric to onwards.
- OPF Income Affidavit on Rs. 50/- stamp paper according to given specimen.
- Three Passport size photographs (Blue background) of student.
- Father/Mother Passport/Valid Visa copy.
- Father/Mother Service Certificate.
- Father/Mother OPF Membership card/Registration card
- Father/Mother’ s CNIC copy
- Current Utility bills (Electricity, Gas, Telephone, Water)
- Students who are resident of University hostel attached certificate verified by Hostel Warden/Superident.
- Students’ CNIC/ Form-B copy
It is further requested to display the notice on the notice boards of your department for the convenience of students.
