Applications are invited for Iqbal NEST Scholarships 2018-19 for MS/MPhil Pakistani Students in specific Pakistani universities and majors. The Iqbal National Endowment Scholarship is providing scholarships to the Pakistani students for MS/MPhil in public sector universities.
The Financial Support for MS/MPhil Students in disciplines of Science & Technology, Development Economics, Energy, Agriculture, food security, water resources, Social Sciences in specific universities at Pakistan.
Eligibility Criteria
The eligibility criteria for Iqbal National Endowment Scholarships for Talent is given below:
- The applicant must be a Pakistani/AJK National
- High academic achievement.
- Students must secure admission in the approved discipline at the participating institution as per admission policy of the institution and be enrolled in MS/M.Phill Program.
- Only those students who are enrolled in first semester/professional year in the respective courses offered by the participating institutions are eligible to apply
- The eligibility of a candidate is linked to neediness of the candidate as determined by the financial background of his/her family not more than Rs. 45000/-.
- Applicant must be from Least Developed District of Pakistan.
- The age limit should not exceed from 35 years for MS/MPhil (18 years) programs.
- The applicant must have completed 16 years Bachelors/or equivalent Degree for application in MS/MPhil (Postgraduate Program).
- In case of final selection, candidate has to submit a bond agreement and will not be allowed to withdraw from the scholarship.
- Not availing any other educational scholarship during the current academic year.
Special Quota
- 20 % Punjab 20% Baluchistan 20% Sindh 20 % KP 5 % ICT 5 % GB 5% AJK 5% FATA.
- Special 2 % overall quota for disable persons
Non-Eligibility
- Results awaiting candidates are not eligible to apply
- Candidates are who are already availing any other scholarship are not eligible
How to apply for Nest Scholarship?
All the interested and needy students who aspire to apply for admission to the above programs are encouraged to apply on prescribed forms available from Photostats Shops or can be download from website. Application forms incomplete in any respect and not supported by the required documents and after due date will not be entertained.
The last date for the receipt of applications is 19th October, 2018
Attested Documents to be Attached
- Academic documents copies.
- Applicant’s CNIC Copy/B Form.
- Father’s /Guardian’s CNIC
- Domicile (If not available then attach Father’s Domicile and slip of applied for the domicile.
- Photographs (Two passport size).
- Undertaking for income Declaration.
- Salary Slip/Income Certificate of Self/Father/Guardian
- Application Form filled and signed by applicant.
- Certificate from institute that applicant is not availing any other scholarship for current academic session signed and stamped by department head.
- Proof of Hostel
- Utilities Bills last paid
- Death Certificate (In case of parents died)
- It is further requested to display the notice on the notice boards of your department for the convenience of students.
