Sealed Tenders based on item/percentage rates above or below market rate System enforced since, 01-07-2004 with (amended up to date) are invited from University enlisted/ pre-qualified Contractors duly registered with PEC for the current year. Participants will have to deposit required Tender Fee in shape of CDR/P.O/DD/BC (Non Refundable) along with application for issuance of Tender.
Tender documents can be obtained from the office of the undersigned on presentation of attested copies of enlistment/ up to date renewal letter and fee receipt, Authority letter on letter pad of contractor/firm, Identity card of contractor/ Managing partner of the firm along with registered Power of Attorney, proof of relevant work experience and prescribed tender fee. PEC license for the current year must be attached with the request of issuance of bidding documents in case of failure bidding documents will not be issued.
Bidding documents are available to all eligible bidders and can be obtained from the office of the undersigned on any working day during office hours from the date of publication of advertisement in National Press and PPRA website.
Tender will be received in the office of the undersigned on the dates mentioned below up to 11:00 AM and will be opened on the same day at 11:30 AM by the Tender Opening Committee in the presence of intending contractors or their representatives. The Tender/ Bid must be accompanied with CDR/P.O/D.D, B.C of minimum 2% of estimated price as earnest money. Conditional tenders will not be entertained.
The lowest bidder whose bid will be less than 5% of the estimated cost of the work, will have to deposit the difference which will be returned on successful completion of the contract, Failure to deposit the difference within seven days of the notice, would result into forfeiture of earnest money without further notice. In case of closed/ forced holidays or any unforeseen event, tender issuance/ opening time/date will be considered as the next working day. The Committee shall have the right of rejecting the tenders as per PPRA rules.
