Sealed tenders based on item rates are hereby invited for the works mentioned below from the contractors / firms registered with Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) for the current financial year in the relevant category or above (having relevant PEC Codes) in accordance with PPRA Rules 2014 (with upto date amendments). Participants will have to deposit required Tender Fee in shape of CDR/P.O/DD/BC (Non Refundable) in favour of Project Director (GCUF) along with application for issuance of Tender (Name of concerned firm must be clearly mentioned on the CDR/P.O/D.D, B.C of Fee).
Tender documents can be obtained from the office of the undersigned on presentation of attested copies of valid PEC license, PRA tax, Professional tax, NTN, partnership deed, Identity card of contractor/ Managing partner of the firm along with registered Power of Attorney, proof of relevant work experience and prescribed tender fee.
Bidding documents are available to all eligible bidders and can be obtained from the office of the undersigned on any working day during office hours from the date of publication of advertisement.
Tender will be received in the Committee Room of Vice Chancellor’s Secretariat, Main Campus Government College University, Faisalabad on the dates mentioned below up to 11:00 AM and will be opened on the same day at 11:30 AM by the Tender Opening Committee in the presence of intending contractors or their representatives. The Tender/ Bid must be accompanied with CDR/P.O/D.D, B.C of any scheduled bank minimum 2% of estimated price as an earnest money in favour of Project Director (Name of concerned firm must be clearly mentioned on the CDR/P.O/D.D, B.C of earnest money) . Conditional tenders will not be entertained.
The lowest bidder whose bid will be less than 5% of the estimated cost of the work, will have to deposit the difference which will be returned on successful completion of the contract, Failure to deposit the difference within seven days of the notice, will result into forfeiture of earnest money without any further notice. In case of closed/ forced holidays or any unforeseen event, tender issuance/ opening time/date will be considered as the next working day. The Committee shall have the right of rejecting the tenders as per PPRA rules.
