Registration of Firms for Miscellaneous Fixtures and Furniture Facilities

23 July 2020: DUE TO SOME TECHNICAL GROUNDS TENDER IS HEREBY CANCELLED

Government College University, Faisalabad invites eligible, well-reputed and relevant experienced Firms / Companies / Contractors duly registered with PEC in relevant category and Government College University, Faisalabad with relevant codes and tax departments for the current year to participate in the work Provision of miscellaneous fixtures and furniture facilities for newly constructed Academic Blocks and Hostel Buildings at New Campus Government College University, Faisalabad under the project Development of New Campus Government College University, Faisalabad-Phase-II the tendering will be as per PPRA Rules Single stage Two envelopes (Technical & Financial Bids) bidding procedure.(Note: After approval of technical bid, the financial bid of only successful bidders will be opened).

Bidding documents are available to all eligible bidders and can be obtained from the office of the undersigned on any working day during office hours from the date of publication of advertisement in National Press and PPRA website on presentation of Authority letter on letter pad of contractor/firm, Identity card of contractor/ Managing partner of the firm along with registered Power of Attorney, proof of relevant work experience and tender fee of Rs. 2,000/-  (in shape of CDR/ Pay order/demand draft, B.C on the name of Project Director). Bidding documents will be issued to the firms having valid proof of sufficient experience of at least 02 similar nature and cost projects.

The Bids should reach in the office of the undersigned on 27-07-2020 up to 11:00 AM and bids will be opened on same day at 11:30 AM by the Tender Opening Committee in the presence of intending contractors or their representatives. The Tender/ Bid must be accompanied with CDR of minimum 2% of estimated price as earnest money. Conditional tenders will not be entertained.

In case of closed/ forced holidays or any unforeseen event, tender issuance/ opening time/date will be considered as the next working day.
The lowest bidder whose bid will be less than 5% of the estimated cost of the work, will have to deposit the difference which will be returned on successful completion of the contract, Failure to deposit the difference within seven days of the notice, would result into forfeiture of earnest money without further notice. The Committee shall have the right of rejecting the tenders as per PPRA rules.
