Corrigendum / Amendment

It is with reference to our advertisement for Tender Notice for Tender No.312/2016 published in Daily Express on 08.04.2016 and in Daily Jang on 11.04.2016 under IPL-3962, uploaded on 04.04.2016 PPRA website and GCUF website. The following amendments may be considered as part & parcel of the said advertisement
  1. The extended date for submission of bid is 25-04-2016 on or before 1100 hours.
  2. Serial No.03 of the tender notice may be read as: “All bids must be accompanied by Tender Fee Rs; 1,000/- and Bid Security (Refundable) at the rate of 2% of the estimated price of Rs140.000 (M)  for whole tender OR bid security at the rate of 2% of the quoted price of quoted equipment (s) in shape of CDRs in favor of "Treasurer GCUF" . The CDRs of Tender Fee and Bid Security (in original) must be attached with Technical Bid & Financial Bid, respectively. Bids which are incomplete, not signed, not on letter pad, not sealed, without tender fee & bid security, late or submitted by other than specified mode will not be considered”.
  3. Clause No.6.7 of Tender Documents No.312/2016 may be read as: “The successful bidder shall open “Letter of Credit” at his own in favor of GCUF, wherever applicable and letters for custom duty / excise duty / sales tax / other surcharge exemption shall be issued, wherever applicable.
  4. Change / correction in Specifications of equipments at serial No. 03,04,09 &10 detail of which is available on PPRA and GCUF websites.

Government College University, Faisalabad (GCUF) invites sealed tenders / bids from the well reputed firms / importers / suppliers, registered with Sales Tax and Income Tax Departments, for procurement, supply and installation of “Scientific Equipments for Different Departmental Laboratories of Government College University Faisalabad (GCUF)”. Detail and Specifications of required equipments are attached in the Tender Documents.
  1. Tender Documents are available for download at GCUF's website www.gcuf.edu.pk and PPRA's website www.ppra.punjab.gov.pk. The procurement shall be completed in accordance with Punjab Procurement Rules 2014, on Single Stage - Two Envelope Bidding Procedure.
  2. A single package containing two envelopes, Technical and Financial separate Bids, duly completed, signed, stamped, sealed and in complete conformity with Tender Documents should be dropped in Tender Box placed at Procurement Department of the GCUF, not later than 1100 Hrs on 25.04.2016 . Technical Bids will be opened first on 25.04.2016 at 1130 Hrs, and Financial Bids will be opened (as per schedule issued later on) for only those Successful Technical Bids which are acceptable to the "Technical Committee/s". Whereas, Financial Bids of unsuccessful Bidders will be returned un-opened.
  3. All bids must be accompanied by Tender Fee Rs; 1,000/- and Bid Security (Refundable) at the rate of 2% of the estimated price of Rs140.000(M) in shape of CDRs in favor of "Treasurer GCUF". The CDRs of Tender Fee and Bid Security (in original) must be attached with Technical Bid & Financial Bid, respectively. Bids which are incomplete, not signed, not on letter pad, not sealed, without tender fee & bid security, late or submitted by other than specified mode will not be considered.
  4. The University may reject all bids/proposals at any time prior to the acceptance of a bid or proposal as per PPRA Punjab rule 35, however, upon bidder request, the grounds for rejection will be communicated to the concerned but no justification will be given as per PPRA rule 35 (2).
  5. In case of closed/forced holidays, tender opening time/date will be considered as the next working day.
